My father Gary was a partner at Cowen & Co, an investment firm on Wall Street. He influenced me since my early days and still does at the age of 77. My father taught me about the workings of Wall Street and exposed me to many different kinds of investments. I often went to work with him and sat on the bond trading desk with him. I was intrigued by the markets but felt a bit overwhelmed by them too. I remember those feelings and keep them in the forefront when I deal with my clients.
Finally, in 2009 at the age of 42, I joined the brokerage industry at a small regional firm. In 2015, I moved to Waddell & Reed and I truly believe I am where I was meant to be - doing what I do, well.
I am able to use my natural talent for math, communication skills, and the ability to understand our clients’ individual needs to help them manage their investments and risk to ultimately pursue their financial goals.
